Volunteers
Eurobodalla Meals on Wheels exists to support a client's health and well-being in their home and in the community. Over 200 volunteers are the life blood of our meals on wheels services. From packing or delivering meals; supporting our clients with group and individual activities to help with service administration, Board or Advisory Group membership, all volunteers contribute to making our meals on wheels services 'more than just a meal'. All of our volunteers need to undergo a National Criminal Record Check.
Our volunteers don't just give their time, they get something back in return. Here is what some of our volunteers say about what they do at Meals on Wheels
- It feels good to help others as we might need help from others in future
- It gives me great satisfaction to have elderly people appreciate the help I am able to give them
- Great opportunity to learn of the life experiences of many people over the past one hundred years
